USA Sea Rates

As well as air freight, KeBay is now also shipping via sea from the USA to Nairobi, Kenya. It's much cheaper than air freight, & previously banned items in the air are now permitted via sea. Kindly note that sea freight is almost 3 times cheaper than air. Sea freight is charged by volumetric weight or actual weight, whichever is higher.

The container leaves California once it fills up, which is approximately once a fortnight. Then it takes a further 2 to 3 months to reach Nairobi depending on sea conditions, maritime weather and speed of port clearances. Please note that all sea shipping from the USA is avoiding the Straits of Gibraltar, the Suez Canal and the Red Sea due to piracy and terrorist activity by the Houthis near Yemen. This is affecting ALL sea shipping (eBay and competitors alike) due to the need to divert via the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa. If speed is of the essence, kindly use our air route, which takes 8 days only.
 

Sea freight fees from California to Nairobi Loresho are inclusive of import fees and foreign exchange charges. For insurance details please read our terms & conditions.
 

1 Kg to 50 kg is $6.50/kg.
50 Kg to 100 Kg is $6.25/kg.
Over 100 kg is $5.99/kg.

The minimum charge is 1 kg.
